OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to create an environment for farmers and residents of Centre County to mutually benefit from a market of locally produced items.  For this reason every market vendor is required to personally produce all of the items that they sell so that everyone purchasing foods, flowers, or crafts can trust that they are receiving only the finest  products.

MEET OUR VENDORS:

This page shows the locations of our vendors on a map of Locust Lane (site of State College Farmer's Market).  By selecting a vendor you can view a page including: their contact information, a description of their operation, and products available for sale by month.

ABOUT OUR MARKET:

PRODUCTS Most of the fruits and vegetables sold are seasonal.  Some of our vendors sell baked goods, canned goods, and crafts all season long.  All of our vendors produce or grow what they sell.  For more information on exact products, select their name from the vendor map.
WHERE AND WHEN The market is located in downtown State College on Locust Lane (across from the HUB lawn) between College Avenue and Beaver Avenue.  For a better guide to the location please view our street map.  It is held  Fridays from 11:30 to 5:30 (no early sales permitted).  The 2010 market runs every Friday, (except during Art- Fest...no market July 9) from  May 28  to  November 19. For more dates see  market dates & upcoming events.
MEMBERS Local residents of the region can join the market.  More information about our members can be seen by selecting their name from the vendor map.
WHY SHOP WITH US This market offers freshness, high quality, reasonable prices, and convenience. It also allows local residents to support our local farmers. Since all vendors are producing these products for you, they can often explain best handling and preparation methods. Our farmers are proud of the "Fruits of their labors" and are always willing to offer FREE advice.
