FROM EAST or WEST : Exit Rt 322 at College Ave.(also named RT 26; Benner Pike). Turn west onto College Ave and proceed 2 mi. to Locust Lane (2nd street to left after campus intersection of College Ave. & Shortlidge Rd (Garner St). FROM NORTH or SOUTH (within town): Follow Atherton Street (business Rt. 322) to Beaver Ave. light. Turn east on Beaver Ave. and go thru 4 lights (6 blocks) to Locust lane. Although the map is not well defined, the important point to note is that the Downtown State College Farmers' Market is held on Locust Lane (center of street map) in downtown State College. Walking from Penn State Campus-- just cross College Ave. at the HUB lawn. |

PARKING:
For those driving we recommend using parking garages on Garner or McAllister Streets (both are one block on either side of Locust Lane, the street where the Farmers' Market is held). On-street metered parking spaces are more difficult to find and have a 2 hour or less time limit. The Pugh Street Municipal Garage, located just a few blocks west of the market, has a reduced rate after the first hour parking. Overnight and monthly parking rates are also available there. |
