ABOUT OUR FARM:

Way Fruit Farm is a fifth generation family owned and operated farm - with Brooks and Sharon Way as the current owners.  We have a home road side market which is open year round.  Our operating hours are Monday-Friday 8 to 6, Saturday 8 to 5, and we are never open on Sunday.  We have pick-your-own operations for strawberries and tart cherries (during those crops we are open 8 to 8 M-F and 8-5 Sat.  Again we are never open on Sunday.)  All the other crops are already picked and available for sale at our roadside market (located on route 550 near Stormstown) or one of the three farmer's markets we attend - Boalsburg Farmer's Market 2:00-6:00 from approximately mid June - October, Tyrone Farmer's Market 9:00-1:00 from approximately first week in July to the end of October, and at State College Farmer's Market 11:30-5:30 from approximately mid June to mid November.  We have a Fall Apple Festival at our farm the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays in October from 9-4 with wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, crafts, homemade soup, pies, and dumplings!  We make our own apple butter and apple sauce and can our own peaches for you to enjoy.  Come and see us!
